Carbon takes after his sire, Avalon's Jacob Black - 19X champion black who stamps his mark on all his cria. It's no surprise that Jacob Black took the 2015 & 2016 Dark Reserve Championship at the Futurity. Jacob Black's bloodlines have been closed to the outside, so we are thrilled to have him in the Pacific Northwest.

Graysea, his dam, delivered his 1/2 sister, LibertyAlpacas Magna Carta. Magna Carta took the show ring by storm, winning the prestigious AOA Supreme Championship and then was sold to Xanadu Alpacas as high selling alpaca at the 2019 Futurity sale.
Magistrate’s sire, Irish Meadows Peruvian Carbon Copy, has produced many black champions following the phenomenal footsteps of his grandsire of Jacob Black!
LibertyAlpacas Magistrate was only shown at a dual show due to Covid. When he showed in a large class representing ALL shades of grey - from light silver, rose, and then dark - he rose to the top of the class taking first and Reserve Color Championship! We were certainly not surprised, given his extremely dense, highly organized high frequency and ultra fine fleece.
