Featured Alpaca
"Indie" with her prissy little attitude combined with her typey head shouts "look at me" and her inquisitive little demeanor is "ABSOLUTELY" adorable. Her fiber characteristics and soft handle are combined with the highly-desirable medium silver gray color to surely be a winning combination. This little gal has a ton of presence, so be sure to look for her in the show ring this spring! See Liberty's Absolute Independence first run in the pasture. |

Featured Product
A new and better designed feeder for getting the food to multiple animals at once, while minimizing the loss of food and mess. Being able to load 2 bales of hay at a time reduces the amount of work necessary to best feed your animals while reducing the feeding time of the animals with the revolutionary 360° feeder. |

Paca Poo
|
We have "Paca Poo" available for your gardens and plants. Alpaca manure is one of the only natural fertilizers that can be taken from the pasture and put directly on your plants! Paca Poo's composition of 2-1-1 makes it better balanced and very nutritious to both your outdoor and indoor plants. Just put a ring of the alpaca fertilizer around your rose bushes, cover with a little dirt and every time you water your plants you are fertilizing them at the same time! Because the alpaca's three-stomach digestive system processes food so efficiently there is no seed transfer as with cow or horse manure. |

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our ranch...Black Velvet's Zora! We can't wait for her 2009 cria from the extraordinarily special - Snowmass Silver Signature. Thank you to Janus Fiber & Alpaca Company for this outstanding opportunity to own such a quality alpaca! Liberty Alpacas started raising alpacas in 2007 after recognizing the tax advantages of alpaca ownership. We had prior livestock experience so we understood animal husbandry, this combined with our professional business experience, made alpacas a perfect choice. As newer breeders, the “alpaca learning curve” is fresh in our minds. We can relate to your questions and anxieties about starting up your own alpaca business.
Currently, we are raising our herd of Huacaya alpacas, focusing on a colored program with bloodlines such as Premier Absolute, Hemingway, and Accoyo Victor. As well as raising these beautiful animals, we are the Pacific Northwest authorized distributor of MSA green panel equipment for small livestock. One can never have too many alpacas or green panels! We invite you to arrange a visit and see what alpaca life is all about.
We are an Alpaca Mentors member farm. Alpaca Mentors are dedicated and commited to education, communication and collaboration with those interested in joining the alpaca community and enjoyng the many benefits of being an alpaca owner. |
