Charity that touches my heart...

Here’s a follow-up to our alpaca hat donation to Knotsoflove.org. Knotsoflove.org is a wonderful charity that accepts new hats for cancer patients located across the US. We sent them a dozen alpaca stocking hats and the Director called me to personally thank us. She said that our hats were being distributed to several VA hospitals in Georgia, Montana and California. Her appreciation was overwhelming, and she asked to keep sending them. To date, they have donated nearly a quarter million hats all across the country.

Thanks Jo Ann Thomas Weeks?, my mom – who put the labor of love into making them with our herd’s yarn. Each hat had a beautiful tag, so the recipient will know where it came from.
