Alpaca 101

This weekend, we hosted several visitors to the farm to learn more about the alpaca lifestyle and give an Alpaca 101 seminar. We always enjoy teaching folks about alpacas and letting them get their hands-on experience. It’s a joy to walk people around the ranch and hear their questions and comments.
It also helps us remember all the same questions we had when we first looked at alpacas. That’s a good thing to remember actually – and try not to overwhelm people with facts, data and information.
Having people to the farm also helps us keep on our tip toes with the never ending outside chores!
